A beautiful church wedding

When I met Helen and Paul in April last year at Hanbury Manor Spring wedding fair, straight away, I got very excited at the thought of playing a part in their big day as Helen was dreaming of a floral arch (I am obsessed with floral arches) and to top it all, just like me she was french! (Which meant that we would get to do some wedding planning in french!!)

They already had a florist for their reception but were looking for someone who could help make their ceremony at St-Emmanuel's Church in Northwood look beautiful. We agreed that it would be a shame to only use the arch at the church so despite a tight schedule, I was up to taking the arch down and transport it to their venue in Ware after the ceremony. This way, they would be able to enjoy it with their guests during the reception.

Helen wanted the flowers in the arch to match her bouquet's pure white and pink theme so we decided to go for white hydrangeas, sweet avalanche roses, pink O'haras (one of my favorites for the delicate smell), lady bombastic roses, pink astible and some white lysianthus.

As well as the arch, the aisle was decorated with delicate pew ends. Guests were also welcomed by a large floral urn at the entrance of the church.
